Porf. Smail Niar
Smail Niar is a full professor at the university of Valenciennes, France (CNRS UMR). His research activities in University of Valenciennes are : “Decision, Interaction & Moblity ” axis within “Mobile & Embedded Systems” Research group at LAMIH. He is also member of High Performance and Embedded Architecture and Compilation (HiPEAC) , the European Network of Excellence FP7-ICT programme.
Dr Shadi Traboulsi
Dr. Shadi Traboulsi was born in Beirut, Lebanon. He received his Bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Beirut Arab University (BAU) in 2005, and his Master of Science in Communications Engineering, with a specialty in Communications Electronics, from Technische Universität München (TUM) in 2007. In 2013 he received his Doctorate degree (Dr.-Ing.) from Ruhr-Universität Bochum, where he worked on research projects tightly coupled with companies specializing in embedded processing as well as mobile handset development.

Tassadaq Hussain received his Masters degree in Electronics for Systems from the Institut supérieur d’électronique de Paris in 2009. Currently he is doing Ph.D. degree in Computer Architecture from UPC . For the period of the PhD he is working as a research student with the Computer Sciences group at the Microsoft Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). The group is responsible to investigate and evolve high performance computing systems for data and compute bound applications. Mostly the group’s research is focused on Shared Memory Multiprocessor Architectures, Clustered Computing, Reconfigurable Computing, Multi/Many Core Architectures, Heterogeneous Architectures, Transactional Memories, ISA (Instruction Set Architecture) virtualizations, Microprocessor Micro-architectures and Software Instrumentation & Profiling.
Tassadaq’s research focuses on studying the use of accelerators for supercomputing purposes. The main focus is to schedule multi-accelerator/vecotor processor data movement in hardware. At the theoretical level we are proposing novel architectures for the acceleration of HPC applications

Mr. Aniq Iqbal has experience in the field of digital design on ASIC and FPGA platforms. He also worked in Open Silicon Pvt as principal Design Engineer on ASIC front end development of NAND flash controller for SSDs. The ASIC also includes a 8051 core to run the FTL routines, bad block management and other flash management routines. Mr Aniq has broad experience in leading design and development of digital IPs and exposure to different phases of ASIC life cycle
